Do you like low def, moppy headed, 80's shlok with a crazy premise? If so, then this is the film for you. I like the name "Bells" better which was the original title and what it's called in the U.K. This is like a lot of old horror on Youtube in that it has that shitty VHS look and feels like a made for T.V. movie. The premise of the move is that someone has figured out how to kill people through the phone. So a teacher in desperate need of a haircut investigates. That's pretty much it. It is fun with all the none head explosions. The story has good depth and the acting is commendable. It stars Richard Chamberlain as the moppy headed teacher, and John Houseman and Sara Botsford. They are all good and have had long careers. I did enjoy this more than most random horror I find for free. It was tense and did the best it could without any more violence than a phone shooting people across the room. I think they should remake this one. It could be different without the land lines and with more upgraded effects. I give this a 6 out of 10, it was just enough to keep watching and enjoy the "kills". Check it out if the ridiculous concept sounds fun to you. It could be worth your time.
